Today, we acknowledge the strength that women have had to get us where we are today. Growing up, I was lucky enough to see first-hand the power of strong women, from my 96-year-old grandmother, who started teaching IT at the age of 60, to my mum, who has been in business for over 30-years.
However, today, despite women accounting for two-thirds of accountancy professionals, only seven per cent are in partner or director roles, suggesting there’s lots more work to do.
At EOG Accounting, we have one of the best as Director! I am extremely lucky to have Marcia as my wife, but EOG Accounting is just as lucky to have her as Director. Without her hard work and talent, we wouldn’t be where we are today. The girls in our family have her and other amazing women in their lives as role models, inspiring them to keep pushing forward and breaking boundaries.

Today is to you all!
